In the summer, it’s best to hike early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the intense midday heat. Be sure to bring plenty of water, and you might also want to pack snacks for a picnic along the way. Also, be sure to wear comfortable and sturdy footwear, as most of the trail consists of gravel—sandals or flip-flops aren’t the best choices.
Nea Kameni
