Cyprus enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. From June to September, temperatures regularly reach 30–35°C (86–95°F) along the coast, while inland areas, such as Nicosia, can experience even higher temperatures, often exceeding 40°C (104°F). The summer months are sunny and dry, making it the perfect time for beachgoers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Winters, from December to February, are much milder, with temperatures ranging between 10–18°C (50–64°F) on the coast and slightly cooler in the mountains. The Troodos Mountains even see snowfall, attracting visitors for winter sports. Rain is infrequent but mostly falls between November and March, with coastal areas receiving around 350–500 mm of annual rainfall. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, Cyprus remains a great destination in every season.
