Oasis Park
Although Oasis Park is not located in Costa Calma, it’s just a short drive from the town and worth a visit. The park opened its doors to visitors in 1985. It started as a small plant center and camel farm, but a deep love for nature and a commitment to preserve various species of animals and plants have turned it into a huge park, now home to around 8,000 plant species and more than 3,000 animals. You can find here various animals: elephants, giraffes, hippos, orangutans, camels, reptiles, and a lovely world of birds.

By Bus
The bus network on Fuerteventura Island is well-developed, and public transport can take you to almost any location. At the airport, you’ll need to catch bus number 10, which goes to Costa Calma. You can check the bus schedules here. However, keep in mind that bus 10 only runs to Costa Calma a few times a day, so it’s wise to check the travel times in advance.
Tip: If you want to get around Fuerteventura by bus, consider buying a non-resident Bono Card, as it offers a 5% discount on all tickets.
By Taxi
As soon as you exit Fuerteventura Airport, you’ll see many taxis waiting for customers. A taxi from the airport to Costa Calma usually costs around 80 euros, so it’s not the most budget-friendly option.
